Weow, this season is getting intense super quick. Here are my comments from last night's episode:

*********** SPOILERS ***********

• James: Holy smokes. Talk about getting heated after a loss. He had similar emotional outbursts on his previous seasons and I think it cost him in the end (so did not playing his idols haha). But I really think these blowups will hurt him a lot this season. It's one thing to get emotional, but it's another to get so emotional that you arguing with people makes the people in your alliance feel awkward / bad. And I think that happened last night. I think JT and Amanda will be more inclined to throw James under the bus now. Which is too bad. Can't wait for next episode. James looks like a gigantic beast in the challenge.
• Tom: While I did like the fact that Tom was sticking up for his alliance member, some of his comments made me feel like he could be slightly racist. I'm not seeing I think he is racist. I'm just saying that his word choice, at multiple points during the episode, made me think to myself, "I wouldn't be all that surprised now to find out that Tom was racist." That's probably super unfair to say, but it's just how he made me feel. Anyone else get those feelings?
• Amanda: I hate her face.
• Cirie / Candace: Do you guys think they made the right choice in going with James/JT alliance over Colby/Tom alliance? Assuming they don't just ride coattails and stay at the bottom of these alliances (I don't think they will--at least not Cirie) I think both Cirie and Candace are big-time players this season. We'll see, though.
• Boston Rob: Talk about a weird epi for him. He gets super frustrated, faints, briefly thinks things are too hard, decides to stay, then dominates in the challenge. Weird. I liked how he called himself out for having "cry-baby-itis". Pretty hilar. It's refreshing to see someone on these shows that self-aware.
• Russell: Think he finds a hidden immunity idol with no help again? They haven't shown much of him so far, but he's gotta be looking, right? He's def one of my fav players ever.
