Another week goes by with 'The Bachelor' and more bold statements being made by Jake. Not only does he kick off both girls on the 1v1 date, he decides he's going to kick off an extra girl during the rose ceremony. Hilarious. Here are my comments:
- I was really surprised he kicked off Ella...especially when he didn't technically have to. I guess he really just didn't see her as someone he could marry. I thought she was by far the most mature, well-spoken, nice person on the show. Props to Jake though for cutting ties immediately if he wasn't feeling it (since she has a kid and all and that would be super dick to string her along). If Ella got to the top 3 I think she could have had a chance at being the next Bachelorrette (she's kind of similar to Jason Mesnick). Oh well.
- What was with Kathryn being so upset after she also got eliminated on the 1v1 date? At first I thought the producers must have just edited the show in an odd way and that maybe Jake and her actually did have a connection. But then I remembered how she yelled at him for not paying attention to her...so what was the deal? In her exit interview in the limo I thought her "Did anyone see that coming?" line was hilarious...ummm, yes Kathryn, everyone saw that coming, idiot.
- Gia clearly made some big moves this week. She's kind of a wildcard in my opinion.
- Like Lizzie said before, I think Ali really needs to cool down on the Vienna issue. It's going to come back and bite her. I think if she was nicer she would be a pretty clear #1 with Tenley. But now I'm starting to worry she's gonna get owned.
- Last thing...Vienna. Urgh. She is seriously the worst. I'm 100% on the other girls' side with the whole "if he likes her than there's no way he can like me" debate. Vienna comes off so different from the other girls (and in a bad way) that I just don't get how he likes her plus someone like Tenley. Very odd. I was surprised he let Ashleigh go over Vienna...but not really considering how little chemistry Ashleigh and Jake had on their one-on-one time.
