Welp, 'The Bachelor' episode #3 aired last night. Some good stuff in this episode. Since it's so early in the show, I'm not going to worry too much about spoilers. Once it gets down to the top 5 or 6 I'll start being more careful.
Anyway, as @littlewyvern and @lizziecarlson have already tweeted this morning, Jake is actually doing a pretty awesome job at owning girls that are super lame. Kicking Michelle off mid-show was great (although now he's going to get murdered by her in a couple weeks) and eliminating Elizabeth at the rose ceremony is something I don't think many previous bachelors would have done. I legitimately think he liked her at first, but as soon as she started "teasing" him he got rid of her. So props to Jake. While we're talking about Elizabeth, how incredibly dumb is she? First of all, you're really going to play the "you can't kiss me until I'm the last girl standing" card? And then you're going to hugely tease Jake? And then when he gives you a chance to talk about it and either explain or apologize and take it back you actually sit there and 100% completely miss the point that Jake is trying to get across? He's sitting there telling you not to tease him, and you respond with "so I should kiss you"?! What a huge idiot. So glad she left (sorry Hayley -- bad pick, though).
I think I'm still looking pretty good for my predictions:
- Ali as my #1 is still solid I believe.
- Ashleigh as my #2 isn't looking super good, but I still think she's doing fine. So annoying she made such a big deal about the comedy skit, but I probably would have done the same thing (minus the crying).
- I said at the beginning Ella is a really good sleeper pick.
- And I also said that if Ali doesn't win I think she'll be the next Bachellorrette. I still think this is going to play out that way.
