 I have no idea if this will catch on or not, but I thought creating posts revolving around TV Episodes that we watch may be a fun / easy way to create discussions on the site. So I'm starting one for the The Bachelor. I know at least me, Liz, Zurek, and Jason all watch it. That's probably it, though.
And yes, I know some of you hate reality tv and / or hate The Bachelor. Instead of just burning us for watching it, you should instead create a post revolving around a TV show you actually like. I know for sure I'm going to create another one for American Idol. Anyway, if you don't have a login to post your own articles--and you want one--just let me know and I'll get you one asap.
So, on to the actual reason I started this post...
What'd you guys think of Monday's episode. First time ever in the history of a show that a person got sent home for having a sexual relationship with an ABC staff member during filming. Here are my comments:
- How awkward did Chris Harrison look when he was informing Rozlyn that she was being kicked off? I think he was expecting her to either admit to it or just flat out deny it. Instead she just stared at him blankly and made it even more awkward for everyone involved.
- I think it's kind of hilarious that this happened to Jake out of all the previous Bachelors. Of course it would happen to him.
- I was a little disappointed we didn't get any "lean-over-a-railing-and-cry" moves from Jake. I thought that was a for-sure guarantee.
- Do you think ABC did the right thing by kicking her off immediately? Do you think they should have left the decision up to Jake?
And since this is my first post about the show, I thought I would recap who everyone's picks are:
- Jim: Ali as my #1. Jason, I know this is also your #1, but technically this is also who I believe will win. For competitive reasons, I'm somewhat "officially" going with Ashleigh as my #1 since I did see that you picked Ali before I had a chance to watch the show.
- Jason: Ali
- Zurek: Tenley
- Lizzie: No pick yet. She's only seen the second epi, and she's gonna make her pick after going back and watching the first epi.
So what do you guys think so far? Do you like Jake more, less, the same as you did going into the show? Did I miss anything?
