  • "Best Job Application Ever: 'Twitter Genius'" -- looks like this company isn't interested in the normal one-page, Word doc resume. Instead, they want you to apply via Twitter. As most everyone knows, each tweet is limited to 140 characters. It's a pretty interesting concept in my opinion. By the way, the actual job is for a 'social media marketing' position so it does kind of make sense for them to at least try out this approach. Do you think the company will find any decent candidates doing this? If this proves to be a successful idea for them this time, do you see other companies (either other social media marketing jobs or non-twitter related jobs) going with this approach?
  • I think I posted about this in the past when it first launched, but has anyone ever used or heard of anyone using Google's City Tours? In short, all you need to do is type in the address of the place you're going and Google will tell you what attractions to see and how to get there. I guess Google updated City Tours so that it now takes advantage of their "walking directions" filter -- which seems pretty obvious. If anyone ever actually uses this I'd be interested to hear how it went and if you'd use it again.
  • When I first saw that there was a super-nerd, geek, Mac-version of "I'm On A Boat" I figured it would be horrendous and embarrassing. But I actually was able to watch the whole thing and laugh once or twice (hilarious ending pose actually...). Here is the video:

  • I'm sure some of you have already seen this, but if not, check out this mashup of the Top 25 Billboard hits. It's actually pretty cool (and I don't even like most of the music on here)

  • I also found this cool performance from Mark's facebook -- the animals that they made (dog and elephant) were really cool.
