So after I implemented the new commenting system I kind of felt that it made the homepage too complicated / too busy. There were 3/5 forms on the page. And I felt that if all the posts had a lot of comments the site would start to lag. So I've changed up the layout on the homepage.
Now, only the most recent article is displayed in full.
I've also hidden the comments by default. Like before, you can click on the "+" sign below the post content to comment / view comments.
Below the main article I have a horizontal list of the 4 next most-recent articles. A short description of each post is included in the list, as well as a link to the full article.
Then under that, I have a link to the full archive.
This way, there's only 1 set of comments on each page. I think this will make viewing and commenting much easier / clearer / faster.
