- You may start seeing 2D barcodes popping up in store windows. Google sent about 190,000 of these to businesses so that you could take a picture with your iPhone. Wave your iPhone in front of the bar code and you'll get all sorts of information about
that business -- the telephone number, photos, customer reviews, etc. Some business may even offer discounts and coupons. Pretty cool idea if it actually catches on. Apparently it's super popular in Japan (duh). All you need is QuickMark -- the QR Code Reader app from Google. You can currently get it for free.
