Not a whole lot of new stuff today...but I'll post what I have.
- First, I wanted to point out how the L'Ville DBags softball team finished the regular season last night with a solid 8-4 win. That puts us tied for first in the league at 6-1. Last season we ended up as the 4-seed going into the playoffs, but ended up taking 2nd. We've improved on last season already (with tougher teams) -- hopefully we can keep it going in the playoffs.
- I also had a super cool shootout goal by a little kid...but it looks like it got pulled by ESPN and YouTube for some reason...lame.
- Here's a Q&A with Mindy Kaling about The Office wedding episode.
- Also, crime is down about 10% for the city, and down about 19% for homicides. So at least we're going in the right direction after last year's murder-fest.
- Oh, funny store Lizzie heard while listening to the radio: apparently people from the south (like Alabama, Georgia, etc) eat clay...like, clay from the ground. As in, they put it in the oven, put salt on it, put vinegar on it, etc. Wtf? I'm doing some research to see if this is actually true and as common as the person on the radio said.
- Lastly, me and five other DBags (Corey, Bill, Sherman, Jared, Foley) are all leaving for Atlanta this weekend in an RV for a super cool Bears road trip. We're stopping in Cinci halfway, and then heading to Atlanta Saturday. We'll be going to the Sunday Night Bears/Falcons game. So I won't be updating the site over the weekend. But don't forget all you narbs have access to post stuff, so you can update the site on your own.
