- Very cool, and interesting article about Netflix, crowdsourcing, and competition.
- The new Pearl Jam album has been released on MySpace. I think it comes out for real in a couple days...or maybe next week?
- If you missed the Emmy's, here's a list of the winners and the categories that they won in.
- Here's an article about the last Top Chef episode from the ranchers' side.
- This is actually pretty interesting. A website has popped up called RedesignGoogle.com. Clearly, it's purpose is asking designers to submit possible designs for a new Google.com. This site isn't affiliated with Google at all (the winner gets a new MacBook Air). But it does bring up an interesting point: one of the most popular websites on the internet is about as basic design-wise as it could possibly be. Personally I think Google really could spiff up their design a bit. But I guess there's a reason for the saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it". Thoughts?
- I'm sure most people around Chicago heard about how Oprah shut down Michigan Ave the other weekend for a party kicking off her new season. Whether or were ok with it or not, it's pretty cool that she already paid back the city for the money lost.
- Well, I could just tell this to Lizzie in person, but I'd rather just post the links so she actually remember. WeddingWire has updated their iPhone app. Not sure if it's worthwhile or not, but it it probably at least worth checking out. Apparently The Knot also has an iPhone app, but it's just for advice.
- The teacher I posted about the other day that gave drugs and alcohol to her students has been arrested again...surprise!
- No idea why I never thought to look for these kinds of apps, but apparently Power Music Hour is a great "power hour" iPhone app. Definitely downloading this.
- This is a great post. It's hilarious for the pics the Bears players use and for their notable tweets. Unintentional comedy at its best.
